Students who are identified as having limited English proficiency will be participating in the ACCESS assessment in January and February. The ACCESS
assessment is an Illinois state-mandated test that assesses students' development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English. These tests are administered in person and in groups based on the students' English proficiency level and grade level. Students taking this assessment must have their computer with them for testing. Additional information will be coming home from the Crystal Lawns English Language department for students that will be testing.
