Support our Veterans & Troops by donating either a food item or personal hygiene item by February 14th. The donated items will be sent to our veterans at VA Hines Hospital and to our troops stationed overseas. A donation bin is located in the front foyer of our building.
Requested Food Items:
Cookies, granola or protein bars, rice krispies treats, candy, gum, mints, microwaveable mac & cheese cups, microwave popcorn, slim jims, oatmeal or hot chocolate packets.
Personal Items needed:
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, denture cleaner & adhesive, 3 in 1 shampoo, lip balm, combs, nail clippers, disposable razors, lotion, foot powder, sweatshirts, sweatpants, t-shirts, socks, playing cards and word find books.

Flags will fly at half-staff until sunset on January 28, 2025 in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who passed away Sunday. Flags were already at half-staff to honor Illinois State Police Trooper Clay Carns, who died in the line of duty on December 23. Flags are lowered for 30 days from the death of a President or former President.
